The University of Michigan Medical School is one of the leading institutions in the country and provides an ideal environment to serve the lupus community.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSystemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an extraordinarily complex autoimmune rheumatic disease that occurs primarily in women of childbearing age, which is best addressed by a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis, treatment, and research.
