Educational Objectives
At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
- Develop an approach to common morphologic patterns seen in soft tissue tumors.
- Describe the most important diagnostic clues in arriving at a specific diagnosis in the most common patterns seen in soft tissue tumor.
- Describe ancillary diagnostic techniques including immunohistochemistry and molecular diagnostics in the approach to difficult soft tissue tumors.
- Discuss the limitations of conventional diagnostic markers for soft tissue tumors.
