Overview
The Spectrum of Developmental Disabilities This multidisciplinary, three-day conference will address the public health implications, underlying neurobiology, diagnosis, management strategies and outcomes for neurodevelopmental disorders diagnosed in infancy.
Objectives
- Discuss the role of brain maturation, of genetic factors, and of environmental enrichment in infant neurodevelopment.
- Implement evidence-based developmental surveillance for infants at risk for neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Discuss the many causes of preterm birth.
- Identify appropriate federal and state resources available for optimizing infant neurodevelopmental outcomes.
