    This course will focus on the latest issues and important new findings in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Through the Lifespan – in children, adolescents, and adults. This day-long, virtual course will feature a fantastic lineup of specialists in the field and a breakout “Ask the Experts” session where attendees can review clinical concerns with some of our expert panelists.
    Topics for the day include: ADHD diagnosis and treatment in adults, adult ADHD guidelines and medication shortage issues, ADHD and depression, ADHD and cannabis use, ADHD and inflammation, and ADHD and learning disorders, among others.
    Educational Objectives


    After participating in this activity, clinicians should be able to:
    1. Discuss identification and treatment of reading and learning disorders in children with these disorders and ADHD
    2. Describe the high rates of overlap of substance use disorders and ADHD
    3. Revise their screening protocols for ADHD for females of all ages as discussed in pending guidelines for adult ADHD
    4. Screen their adult patients who have been diagnosed with depression for ADHD
    5. Evaluate their current practice regarding the relative safety and efficacy of the pharmacological treatment of adults with ADHD
    6. Discuss the most recent follow-up studies on persons with Long COVID investigating neurological, neuropsychological, and psychiatric symptoms relative to controls
    7. Discuss the impact that parental ADHD has on coping with ADHD in children in the family
