    Overview

The Pathology of Neoplastic Diseases 2022 The Department of Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is proud to announce the 39th addition of its Surgical Pathology of Neoplastic Diseases course, which will be held virtually May 2 – 6, 2022. This year we continue to expand the scope of the course to reflect the increasing contributions of cytopathology, immunopathology, and molecular pathology.

This four and one half day course was built to provide an up-to-date review of the pathology of selected subspecialty areas of neoplastic disease, including Gastrointestinal, Thoracic and Genitourinary pathology. Course faculty, which include the attending pathology staff from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and selected guest lectures, speak on appropriate use of advanced diagnostic techniques such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology will be incorporated into the lectures, including the assessment of therapeutic biomarkers. Case presentations will also be integrated into some sessions.

As part of your registration you will receive a complete digital syllabus, along with digitized glass slides of cases for review. Video recordings of the lectures will be available after the course in your account here on the CME portal.

Finally, optional more intimate, interactive slide seminar sessions on selected topics in Gastrointestinal, Thoracic and Genitourinary pathology are available for an additional charge. Registration for the three slide sessions is limited.
    Objectives
    1. Label current classifications and diagnostic criteria for tumors and tumor-like lesions
    2. Highlight the appropriate use of ancillary diagnostic techniques
    3. Complete differential diagnoses and understand the practical, problem- oriented approach
    4. Identify clinical features of the various tumor entities
