    Overview

    The goal of this conference is to further engage the perioperative faculty and staff in understanding the importance of fostering supportive work environments to address mental health disparities among patients and coworkers. Participants will explore strategies for reducing stigma, promoting mental health awareness, and providing resources for mental health support within the healthcare workplace and for patients.
    Objectives
    At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
    1. Identify and address existing DEI knowledge gaps in the workplace/practice.
    2. Develop best practices in professionalism and wellness for healthcare professionals.
    3. Promote a multidisciplinary approach to addressing and promoting wellness in healthcare.
